HISTORY OF JAPANESE POP ART
Arts on Main Presents: An Evening with Dr. Jill Holaday
Join us Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM for a special evening with Dr. Jill Holaday, PHD. who will take us on an engaging exploration of Japanese Pop Art History. Dr. Holaday, teaches a broad range of art history courses. She is passionate about engaging students through lively discussions, interactive in-class activities, and thoughtful exploration of works of art within their historical and cultural contexts. Her scholarship focuses on the postwar German artists associated with Group Zero and the broader international network of artists with whom they collaborated. Her other research interests center primarily on modern and contemporary art, while her teaching encompasses a wide range of artistic traditions, periods, and cultures, including Japanese art and nineteenth-century art. Dr. Holaday has taught art history for six years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She brings her enthusiasm for art, history, and cultural exchange into the classroom, encouraging students to explore art from diverse perspectives and to develop a deeper appreciation for the connections between art and the world around us. In her free time, she loves to hike around the area and take in the beauty of the Western Slope.

Join us as we honor and remember the loved ones who have touched our lives by creating our Welcome Home Altar in the beautiful Hispanic tradition of Día de Muertos.
We invite you to bring a photo of someone special you’d like to remember, along with a small memento that reminds you of them. It could be something meaningful—or even their favorite candy!
Let’s fill our altar with memories, stories, color, and love as we welcome our loved ones home.

The fun, fabulous, and wonderfully creative **Decorative Bra Show** returns **October 1st**—and this year, the beauties will be **available for purchase**, with proceeds helping provide mammograms for women in our community who need financial assistance.
Join the women of Delta as we **artistically enhance bras for a great cause!** Create something fabulous, have a few laughs, and help out a sister. Decorate a bra and donate it at Arts on Main. Bras will be offered for sale.
