I am a 4th generation Colorado native and a retired nurse educator living in Cedaredge, for the last 20 years. I was one of the first girls allowed to enroll in wood shop and auto mechanic classes in high school. I make charcuterie boards, cutting boards, cribbage boards, and chess boards from repurposed wood. You will find me at local craft fairs under the name of C-Boards. The smaller chess pieces are made from resin with different shades of sawdust...

Diane is from California, but her heart has always been here; she’s lived here for the past 30 years. Her parents were born in Delta in the early 1900's, from a very young age she knew her home would always be right here on the Western Slope, in the most beautiful parts of Colorado. She finds that connection to her roots is what fuels her creativity. The youngest of four girls, Diane has always seen the world for its beauty. As a photographer it’s easy to see how much she cherishes her home here. Diane also enjoys repurposing vintage silverware that she fashions into jewelry...

Artist, Author, and Illustrator Denise grew up in rural western New York, where animals, open landscapes, and drawing were part of everyday life. That early connection to the natural world continues to shape her work today. She is drawn to animals not only for their beauty, but for their individuality, movement, and quiet presence.
"My portfolio contains a multi-faceted collection of oil paintings (landscapes, people, animals,), charcoal portraits (ie: the Beatles, John Wayne, JFK), pencil/pastel illustrations for children's books, and from my Christmas card collection. I retired this year after a 30 year rewarding career as an elementary teacher. Over the years I have worked overtime while teaching to be a published author/illustrator and freelance artist in different mediums....
I started showing my work in New Mexico in 2007. I was the top selling artist in town and sold to private collections, nationally and internationally, I live her now (Cedaredge)
